damnit youtube, how do I get 4:3

You might have noticed that YouTube changed the display format on their pages to widescreen a few days ago, after it was first discovered roughly a week ago, back then using some minor hacks.
Personally, I’m not too worried about this. Widescreen or not, I don’t really care much.
But apparently people have been looking for how to go back to the oldschool 4:3. Just a few Google search results that reached our StatPress statistics page:

  • change widescreen back to normal youtube
  • how to disable widescreen youtube
  • youtube how do i get out of widescreen mode
  • Youtube back to 4:3
  • why has youtube gone all widescreen
  • videos no youtube em widescreen
  • why are my youtube videos widescreen

    • Not everybody is happy with changes…

    Seems like YouTube failed to put an option into the personal profiles to turn off 4:3.

    Something like this?
