If FoOlRulez were to pick up a new series, what genre should it focus on?

Both are comedy.
One is ecchi. Really ecchi. The other one is mild.
Both are romance.
Both are shounen.
One is school-life.
I am really disappointed for the result of furry, being so down low. I won’t accept that. Wait for more furry, so you’ll learn the value of it.

Anyways…what I TRULY would like is a combination of….
Fantasy-Furry-Seinen-Ecchi-Comedy……..would Comedy be redundant since Ecchi is already comedy but with Sex?? Would Fantasy be redundant since I already mentioned Furry??
But still……Im glad that Ecchi is near the top…
Something tells me that Ecchi only lost because of the fact that not EVERYBODY knows what Ecchi means…whereas anyone with the ability to go online should know exactly what Comedy is.
I am actually amazed by the quantity of ecchi votes.
In FoOls we don’t consider our mangas because of ecchiness at all, it’s just a case that each one of them is…

I think those two scored highest because we have some great examples of both here on the site, and people just want more of the goods.

id say more romance than ecchi though
and shounen is generally just much cooler than shoujo manga :) haha

I think it is, but a very soft ecchi, because it is only ecchi for a page or two every who knows how many chapters, and very inocent ecchi, but still in my opinion it is perfect as it is XD
alot of ecchi is comedy.. and people just enjoy comedy more i guess.. i voted seinen back then, and i vote twice, there’s soo little people like seinen….
next time instead of genre make a poll of title that you guys should pick up.. i vote for kandachime.
The poll results are perfect! I like romantic comedies that have shonen action! Romantic comedies usually have ecchi moments which are okay I guess. School life is awesome because it’s hard to have a romantic comedy without a school! School Rumble, Hayate, Full Metal Panic, Asu no Yoichi, Seto no Hanayome, Zero no Tsukaima, etc. :)

ecchi and school life are good but i don’t mind without them.

I voted for shounen, seinen, and comedy, so I guess I got two out of three.
what I think got low results because people didn’t know what it was, is furry, even though I voted comedy romance ecchi =P a combination of those three is perfect in my opinion

It’s ok, I personally only count furry votes anyway.
I think most people who aren’t…internet savvy wouldnt even know what furry is. They will probably think of stuff like Bugs Bunny or stuff. And 85% of the people ON the internet probably see furry as two gay guys in animal suits doing each other…and then theres the remaining population that just see it as anthromorphitization (sp.?) of animals…like cat girls…
wrong. we don’t get just *any* people from the internet on our site. we get people who also read kanokon and spice&wolf.
Yeah, gour is correct, most wouldn’t even know or care of the existence of this site if it were not for their want to read the releases… or comment on a release…
so we limit the probability of many normal people, down to just manga readers…

After braving the dark allyways of the internet the word furry makes me shutter, but i dont have a problem with the type of furry your talking about. None the less, I can never think of fridays the same way again T_T
I agree, furry fridays are disgusting.
Instead of picking up another series, adding to the work load, how about resuming the series you already have? Like K-On! for example.
