I’d say this is the Law of Metaphysical Irregularity- The normal laws of physics do not apply – at work here. I’d say this is very applicable, even though it’s an anime law, but many animes are based off of mangas.
It’s either that, or because the author is essentially the GOD of the manga, since they’re able to choose whether the characters continue living, or die, in the next chapter, the laws of physics are what he wants them to be. I like this one better, because it also explains why Natsumi wouldn’t be able to win the case against her husband; he won’t allow her to. Heck, it can explain anything :)
