Two things. One is right in front of your eyes, one is going to be rather mysterious.
First, as you saw, I am remaking the FoOlRulez look yet again. This is not just for the blog, but also for the root page http://foolrulez.org, the forum (that I will also upgrade to version 2) and every other page. I’m going for an even darker theme this time, and I’m trying to make it as simple as possible, because only one thing has to be done right: delivering. And we want to deliver right, fast and amaze you.
Of course, the blog theme is not yet finished (this page is still from the old theme), but it will by next weekend.
Is it missing anything you liked from the previous skin? Tell me, and I’ll fix that.
Second: the mysterious project. This is not a manga project, but rather, a earthshaking one. It’s about internets. I’ll give you a hint. A few people already saw it, I hope they will keep the mouth shut. At the moment the “system” is in very early stages, but the most dramatic part has been taken care of, so it’s all about interface. Wanna see it? Well… here’s the project.

I bet you will like it, or at least some of you. Looks like Google Wave? Yeah, but that’s not the point. I have good hopes on this.
It won’t be released before the beginning of December. It’s just such a huge project.

Thanks for the update as well as the Hayate chapter =O. Are you using Windows 7? And if you are is it any(if all) better than Vista/XP?
I am a Mac user, but I use Seven on all other computers.
In short, it’s as light as XP, and more powerful than Vista, and I’d easily prefer it to Mac, if it wasn’t lacking some feature only Mac gives. Seven is definitely the best OS out there.
If you have a recent computer, Windows Seven will take the soul of all the new technology in it and make your computer look like it’s 30% faster. Good stuff.

Thing is, computer language is English and I easily think directly in English. Else I’d do English>Italian and take more by looking for a translation of the words.

the new site looks nice, i think you just added on the line separating the right and left sides, it helps
and the site looks odd on high rez screens, there’s a bunch of black space on the sides
Win7 is amazing, the new taskbar (that oddly resembles OSX in function) is nice (and it actually take twice the RAM of XP)
It takes more than twice, but that’s because of SuperFetch: it uses unused RAM to be faster, in very few words. Even Vista had that.
But people didn’t know, and everybody said that it uses tons of resources. lol.
the minimum for vista (2gigs) is twice win7 (1gig) and 4 times XP (.5 gigs)
i don’t have any non-macs with less than 2 gigs of ram so i never paid much attention to it
what web development environment (if any) do you use on your mac, i’v been using windows but the built in mac server is useful for testing ipod based web-pages
TextWrangler, just a simple free text editor with syntax highlighting. Saving directly on server to try stuff.
thanks, the program i normally use has auto-format and a built-in browser with de-bugging tools
it also has syntax highlighting for stuff like C (but no compiler)
i never use any of it though, i have a separate C environment, browser is nice but unnecessary
