Kannagi back in a month!

As AnimeNewsNetwork said in their news:
http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2011-06-23/kannagi-manga-to-return-on-july-27-in-japan

On the 27th of next month, July, Kannagi will restart serialization. As the article says, three chapters will be released month by month, and then, due to the conditions of the author, it will slow down to a chapter every two or three months.

Also, since it’s been licensed by Bandai, we will have to block visualization and download from USA, in order not to damage the publishers.

Personally, I can’t wait to work again on my favorite manga. We will deliver as soon as possible.

It was one of the first things I worked on here until a certain group leader stole the project from me. Oh the memories.

    > Takenashi added that the manga will return for three consecutive chapters at first. After that, the schedule will be irregular depending on her health; she will aim to create a new chapter every two months or every three months. <

Looks like there will be no rush on getting those releases out, with 2-3 months of wait time in between chapters you can polish the hell out of each chapter while taking it easy.

Does anyone know what kind of a disease she actually got? Sound fairly nasty to spend that long in hostpital. Drawing comics for a living isn't exactly as hard as moving bricks around in terms of physical stress.

    What? Bandai licensed it?

    *checks*

Oh, THAT kind of license. The jackass, never release shit kind of license.

So US people NEVER get to see what happened.

Oh, wait, they JUST released volume 1…

Too bad for them that I won’t buy it with the way the story was when it went on hiatus.

YES YES YES YES YES YES YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!
I have re-read it so many times over! I’m glad she’s better now, because I cannot wait to continue the story! <33

Whilst I’m glad to finally see this back again I’m kind of put off by the eventual 2-3 month wait for ~20 pages, assuming the chapter lengths remain the same. I understand that she’s ill but hopefully the speed picks up again eventually.

This is the manga I’ve wanted a continuation of the most. Since the anime ended at cliffhanger I began reading the manga and then it ended at the biggest cliffhanger in the series so far. Can’t wait to read how it goes.

inb4 it gets licensed in the US and you decide to drop it.

This is kinda like a tease for us in America since it will be another year/year and a half before we get to see what happens. Booooooo
