Ok, first news, we’ll take up Seitokai Yakuindomo 4koma manga, with all its sex references. But this is just news, wait for facts. The decision should be final though, and the release come quite soon, as in 24-48 hours.

Second: I wasted 1 hour from the release to draw the yukkuri. So make sure you praise me.

Third, and surely more massive, it took a load of work by guorbatschow. We’re (guorbatschow is) working on Curves, a new bot framework written in Java, which means Tanline, our gangsta-moe black haired twintailed bot is now also going to give you the downloads, beside being almost living on artificial intelligence. If things go well, Curves will become an Open Source project that you will be able to use yourself.

Fourth, we have Sora no Otoshimono 40!

Please, if you can waste 40 seconds more of your life, go on IRC to try downloading from the new bot. Use the command “!get sora 40″ or “!download sora no otoshimono 40″ or any command in this page. And please, report in this thread if things didn’t go well.

This month we did the awesome, and got Nyarth to buy Shounen Ace magazine in order to give us Japanese version (RAWs on the net were in Chinese). He went to the London’s anime-con, and you should go read his post about it.

We worked first on the chinese version, then the Japanese version came out and we reworked it to Japanese version (to improve translation quality). Add to that that the RAW came out 2 weeks after the chapter was published in Japan. In the end, we decided to use the Chinese RAWs because they were pretty clean.
So this is why it took a bit to release this. Took only one week, but the delay of the raws killed it.

Damn there’s gonna be a new chapter pretty soon…

That’s how it took one whole week with a team of 8 people to release 41 pages of mango.

A bad surprise for all of you: the download version is wh00ping 86mb. Since we use the download system as backup as well, we won’t change compression factors nor we’ll reduce the size. So this is it, take your time downloading it or use the manga reader.

On more news, I have just developed a new kind of manga reader, so good that when I’ll put it on track (might be tonight?) you won’t be willing to leave it ever.

It’s not even in the quality I like, so I think later today and I might go back on the editing so I can make it look better. But I think those fixes is stuff nobody cares! This chapter, even without considering the RAW, is even of a higher quality than the chapters we released before this one.

If you actually care, come back and try re-downloading from the same link in few days. That version might have further proofreading and better graphics. We won’t issue a v2 officially, because we don’t like doing it too much. We didn’t do that since 2008.

I will write more in this post when I am done buying bread and meat.

Also, someone please upload it to mangafox and submit it to OneManga, because the 4chan one – with very much respect – has a graphic quality that just doesn’t make the cut. I can’t talk about the text in it because I am not a translator though.

This chapter was kind of a turn off… I didn’t expect so many filler chapters altogether, even though each one does have a little development. I wish we could work with something massive like back when there were angeloid attacks and “dream travels”. Instead, we get yet again a chibi chapter in which Tomoki acts just like an old pervert. Meh.

This one uses our own translation and our own double-proofing systems.

Fair and simple, our translator Necrophantasia is so very willing to translate this manga he didn’t want to see it taken away from his hands. And I guess the whole rest of the group was just as happy to be able to deliver a 100% FoOlRulez version of Sora no Otoshimono.

Heard of SnO? It’s some godawful manga. So bad everyone who works at FoOls and every forum member has read it. How can they give me a PLOT and SHIPPING and FANSERVICE in the same mango? I’ll puke.

Because it’s so bad, we just had to take it up, so we can place our name on it and say: this is bad, don’t read it.

Thanks to Anons from 4chan, this mango has arrived someway to this point. Let’s put it like this, we really liked the job that Anon did, it was superb. But, I think that Anon acts only when there’s not enough. We’d like to bring ourselves this manga to the public in any case, so I guess we can save a lot of time to people we can’t give a name to, with releases that should satisfy anyone.

Notice for the new readers: we do all the SFX graphically, and often we replace it with words that are not onomatopoeias. This could feel weird at the beginning, but overall it will give you a better understanding of the facets of each SFX.

Hope you like our releases. We plan in releasing the next chapter within a week. We’ll keep up with releases as long as needed. Our plan is catching up to 34 as soon as possible (with this rate, one every week), then keep up.
