Went through a wild goose chase today to find one of the department managers in the place I applied to work for. Couldn't find the person, but got interviewed by someone else in charge. Got called later today by a friend telling me that the person I was looking for wants to interview me tomorrow.

All this for part-time employment in the seasonal section of a hardware store...

The way I see it, it marks a point where I'll go from what already sometimes feels like a lot of work, to a lot of work, just so I can move from the lot of work to several decades of a lot of work.

Also, considering the large amount of sudden spending just for this "once in a lifetime event" feels pointless to me. Gotta get a suit, a banquet ticket, photos, etc etc. I'm pretty sure it'll be about $300 just for a 2 day thing.
