Games etc. / Super Monday Night Combat.

Super Monday Night Combat is a football themed 3rd person shooter MOBA.

SMNC will be a F2P game with LoL's payment plan. IE: you can buy characters with in game currency and money, you can only buy in game currency boosters, skins, and taunts with money, and you everything else (basically rune like things) can only be bought with the in game currency.

It is currently in its CBT phase, and it uses steam as its launcher.


A tutorial to tell you the basics on how to play the game.

I don't know if this forum game has existed before on FoOlRulez, but here is how it plays.

The first poster puts an item into a vending machine, then the next poster says what comes out and puts a new item into the vending machine, and so on.

Here are the obligatory examples.

I put in a quarter.

You got a kit kat bar.
I put in a cat.

You got Godzilla.
I put in a keychain.

So now lets start.

I put in a spoon.

Welcome and Introduction / Hello

Hello, my name is Russell and I have no plans to take over the world. (honest (honestly))

It is actually kinda funny how I got to here and I blame Woxxy for it all!
I was trying to see if there was any information about when the next chapter for scanlated manga(manhwa in this case).
And instead of finding anything like a forum where the scanlators post progress updates, I ended up just getting odd things.
And one of them was Woxxy's article against manga fox (manga fox wasn't even in the search  ), and then I started to like Woxxy and then I was drawn to the forums. D:

So far the only anime I watched was One Piece. (The funimation version)
About half/half subs and dubs (watched them on hulu), and then I watched a couple else where because there where like 3 episodes left in that arc and they weren't on hulu. >.<

I personally rarely read manga, though I have read many comic books (mostly Marvel/DC).

I am not really interested in any of the manga here, but I like the community here. =D

I can appreciate what scanlators do (translate works that otherwise people would never have read).
For a friend I was helping them translate a text document (for a private server, I only was helping cause they were a friend), though it was written in Portuguese, Chinese, and Korean.(I can't remember if there was any other languages in there)
Anyways I was dedicated to doing it the right way. or at least the best I could do.
Which was using 3 different online translator sites and if needed, translating each word separately and trying to make a grammatically correct sentence.
And a friend that knows Korean was surprised at how good my Korean translations were. 

Though, I wouldn't want to go through that again. (Especially since I only read/speak English)

My current hobbies are: Video Games, Browsing message boards, and most recently trying to actually build up some strength. (I am your standard nerd physic, thin and somewhat weak.)

Sometimes, I can make okay splatter art, smudge art, and patterns but for the most part I kinda suck at art.

My greatest weakness is that I tend to try things my way til it crashes and burns before asking for help.

And on a final note, I am from the USA and I have partial insomnia.
And remember I honestly am not trying to take over the world.
