What's the chance it was related to the volcano in Chile? Since Chile is right under it.

o_O so the south american plate rumbled and let a mountain spit fire, hit the asian plate and caused earthquakes?

Anyway yeah kinda. It could be worse but it's worse enough and sure is the safety system wasn't good enough.
If it would've been so then as i heard hundred of people could have been save.

I just know that it can be well noticed on the other side of the earth if one side is hit by a meteorite.

So maybe the impact from a huge volcano could have a little effect too? I don't know.

Ahh They did a remebrance of this Earthquake in this years summer olympics it was so touching...
