Synopsis:
Due to the influence of someone who visited her town when she was a child, Princess Mikoto of Elua decides to become a hunter and search for treasure all over the land of Driland. She sets out on her journey with her personal assistant Wallens, but they are soon joined by Pollon, a hunter who dreams of being a hero, and Paan, a wandering knight. As they continue their exploration they begin to sense great danger drawing near.

Tanken Driland is in most ways a typical old school dungeon crawl adventure. The one twist: The art is all cute and SD, like you often see it in video games.

Story wise Tanken Driland seems to be nothing too special. Princess has an old Hunter (adventurer) friend whose stories make her want to become one too, she gathers some comrades on her journey, some ancient evil seems to be awakening, many great trial have to be overcome...

So far this works quite well for me, been a while since I saw an adventure like that and the art is quite cute and funny.

Reminds me of one of my all-time favourites. Although the characters do look a bit more child-like (quite the feat).
I implore you to forgive my speaking of English, as I'm not so premium with it.
